Sign in to the OnBuy Seller Centre, fix a login that will not work, and automate your pricing so you do not have to log in to change it.
OnBuy sellers manage their listings, orders and prices through the OnBuy Seller
Centre. This page covers where to sign in, what to do when you cannot, and how to
get at your pricing without logging in at all.
The OnBuy Seller Centre lives at seller.onbuy.com. It is a different login
from the shopper account you would use to buy something on OnBuy, so if you have
both, make sure you are on the seller site. Sign in with the email address you
registered your selling account under.
Bookmark the Seller Centre directly rather than searching for it each time. Search
results for "onbuy seller login" frequently surface the shopper login instead,
which will reject your seller credentials and look like a broken password.
Most failed seller sign-ins come down to one of five things:
If none of those apply, use the password reset on the Seller Centre login page. It
sends to the registered address, which is also a quick way to confirm which email
the account actually uses. For anything that reset cannot fix, OnBuy seller support
is the only route - no third party can restore access to your account.
Signing in to change prices by hand is the part that does not scale. Competitors
move at all hours, and a catalogue of any size cannot be checked manually often
enough to keep up.
Re-Pricer connects to your OnBuy account through the official API, so your prices
keep responding to competitors whether or not anyone is signed in:
You connect it once from your OnBuy API settings. After that the only reason to open
the Seller Centre is to do something Re-Pricer deliberately leaves to you, like
editing listing content or handling an order.
OnBuy is a UK marketplace that has been trading since 2016 and takes payment
from the buyer before passing it to you, so you are not chasing customers for
money. Payouts run on a schedule rather than instantly, which is normal for
marketplaces and worth planning cash flow around.
The risk sellers actually run into is not fraud, it is suspension. Accounts get
restricted for late dispatch, poor tracking, selling items you cannot fulfil,
and for API use outside OnBuy's terms. All of those are within your control,
and the first three come down to not listing stock you do not have.
Verification takes a few days. You cannot sign in to the Seller Centre until it
completes, which is the single most common reason a brand new seller login
appears not to work.
OnBuy takes a category commission on each sale plus a monthly subscription for
the seller plan you pick. Commission varies by category, so the same £20 sale
nets differently depending on what you sold.
That matters more than it sounds: the commission is what separates a sale that
made money from one that did not. If you set a minimum price from your current
selling price rather than from cost plus commission plus VAT plus postage, you
can win the Buy Box on every listing and still lose money on the order.
